A NEW YEAR!

Upon rising, I realized that the only thing on the satellite tiday, (New Years day), was Spongebob Squarepants and God Porn. Ordinarily, as I "archive" & convert audio books from cassette to MP3, (which is piped into my big Altec sound system & heard throughout the house), it typically takes 8 hours per 400+ page book. I start recording when I wake up and dive in & out of the continuous text as I go throughout the day, bouncing between TV "news" propaganda and the ongoing book. Once the book is archived to MP3, I’m then able to fully absorb these books by playing them 6+ times on assigned days and starting them at various points in the text each day. Eventually, I’m able to give intermittent attention to every part of each book over the course of several days. Tiday, however, (since nobody was here and with nothing on the tube), I was able to fully aim my attention to Blink: The Power Of Thinking Without Thinking, by Malcolm Gladwell. It gives insight into the process of making accurate snap judgements. The book is well written, entertaining & accessible.
After the book, I woyked on the Lideman Documentary music pool…
